I know some people like those ultra-real looking skins but I like that softer look, so if you found some more cartoony style skins, Id love to see them. And as answer to Pete the mod that sackgirl suggested is the one I use, clear your caches and go through your mods, specially any mod that may change lighting conditions, also take a look as skins that use to get to be a part of CAS due to downloaded sims with custom color ramps! There are very good tutorials at MTS on how to clean your My documents files of unwanted CC and always backup your files before doing any changes, it will save you time and heartaches later. My only problem with your skins at the time of putting together a sim is in the way of making up my mind to which one to use. You are most welcomed! Actually, all my non default skins are kept as dbc files in one file using s3pe and since you have gone through the task of nicely labeling them I have no problems.
